Last class!

Hello students!

Because it is the last class and I want everyone to be happy and I know you're all busy with your exams we will not have the last Cirque Du Freak reading.

Just focus on finishing your open house presentation.

I'm giving you NO HOMEWORK so you can do something great for your play. Remember you have to show me the final play this Saturday. IT WILL BE PART OF YOUR ORAL EXAM.

Also remember we have the TOEFL exam and we'll be staying an extra hour of class. (Class will end at 1:30 ) so take some extra food with you if you think you'll get hungry.

The oral presentations will be from 1:30 until 2:30. Remember you have to stay the complete hour if you want to do your presentation.

Hi students...as the title says, we only have 2 more classes left before the open house.

I made the groups for the open house plays...remember that for Saturday you have to me show at least the idea of what you're going to do, the story, the characters that you're going to play, etc.

Pay tons of attention, this is very important. You have choose from one of the topics bellow and make a 5 minute presentation about it (individually, remember the teams are only for the open house):

• Bullying
• The news that have created the biggest impact in your life, it has to be something important that happened. (worldwide or national event)
• The greatest invention ever made according to you.
• What have you learned (besides English) from your experience studying at CIDEB
• The value that you think is the most important.

Remember everything we've talked about presentations. This is your final presentation, and I'm going to be very strict when checking it.

Check the spelling, prepare, study, you have to talk for 5 minutes...etc.

PLEASE EVERYONE REMEMBER ABOUT THE CAN COLLECTING CONTEST! LET'S WIN THIS!

Exam and homework!

Hello dear students...

Remember I won't be going this Saturday, but there will be teachers there taking excellent care of you.

You'll have normal classes and also your first partial exam!

REMEMBER TO SEND ME YOUR PARENTS EMAILS! IT IS MEGA IMPORTANT! Send them  at the latest on Wednesday!

Homework and teams!

Hi students,

So here's everything you need to know about your homework. Remember that it is NOT my responsibility to write the homework in the blog or explain it, it's part of your job as students to take notes about it. So I'm only posting what you have to do, but the instructions I already gave them in class.

First the homework:

• Read the Cirque Du Freak Chapter 10-12. I will be checking your vocabulary lists(the ones that you have to do, with their definition, about all the new words you learned). Some of you will be going to the front to  of the classroom to teach some of those new words. And you'll also have the quiz about the chapters.
• Page 34 Act 2B
• Page 35 Act. 3D
• Page 37 Act. 2A
• Song "Wings" by Little Mix. Remember this time you only have to write the lyrics by listening to it. Hope you like it. Don't forget to compare it to the real lyrics to see your mistakes, and look for the definition of all the words you don't know. You can fin the video below.

Also remember that Team #1 will be making the first presentation about "verdad" and "equidad". If you have any questions please send me an email. Also if you don't have the email or contact information of one of your team mates send me an email asking for them. Don't forget it's a formal presentation that will be graded.

Hi students!

So here's the guide for the Naturalization Exam. It's very long, but most of the things in the questions you already know. I'm giving you the questions and answers so it's easier for you to study.

If you haven't done the Cirque Du Freak quiz 1, you can have the quiz this Saturday, but I will grade you over an 80. If you want to have the quiz 1, you have to be in the classroom 10 minutes before classes start. Which means I will be putting the exam at 7:50 :)

We'll also have the Cirque Du Freak Quiz # 2. You can find the chapters 4-6 HERE

Finally the homework:

• Remember I won't be checking the summaries if you send them after Thursday.
• Remember, the song exercise is for you to write the lyrics. Listen to it as many times as you need until you complete the lyrics the best you can. Then compare it to the real lyrics and mark the differences.
